1,130,143. Bearings; vibratory mechanisms. LOSENHAUSENWERK DUSSELDORFER MASCHINENBAU A.G. 21 Dec., 1965 [1 Oct., 1965], No. 54091/65. Headings F2A and F2X. A bearing assembly in an unbalanced vibrator comprises a plate 2 with part of its periphery recessed to form an arcuate gap with housing 1, and a roller bearing 3 in the plate 2 supporting a shaft 4. The gap extends more than 180‹ around the plate. The plate is secured in housing 1 by screws 6 transverse to the plate axis. Unbalanced bodies 5, 5a mounted on the shaft move through oil sump 14 to convey oil to the bearings.
