Abstract

1,129,319. Wells &c. TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP. 19 Dec., 1966 [28 Dec., 1965], No. 56634/66. Heading E1F. A method of producing hydrocarbons from an underground formation involving a central injection well surrounded by production wells located at the vertices and along the sides of a quadrilateral, comprises introducing injection fluid into the formation via said injection well, producing hydrocarbons via said production wells unitil breakthrough of injection fluid thereat. In a modification, further production wells until breakthrough of injecgonals of the quadrilateral. Various patterns of use of the production wells are described.
