Abstract

1,128,942. Pneumatic emptying of containers. INTERCONSULT A.B. 20 Jan., 1966 [2 Feb., 1965], No. 2650/66. Heading B8A. The interior of a closed container for granular or pulverulent material is divided by two vertical perpendicular partitions 2, Fig. 2 (not shown), into four compartments which are interconnected adjacent the top by perforated pipes 14 which extend through the walls 2 and which are covered by filter cloth sleeves 15. Each compartment is provided with an inlet 3, connected by a tube 4 and a shut-off valve 5 to a hose coupling 6, with an outlet 7, connected by a tube 8 to a shut-off valve 9, and with a perforated floor 13 covered by a filter cloth adjacent the outlet 7. A compressed air pipe 12 leads to the space beneath the floor 13 and is provided with a cut-off valve 10.
