Abstract

A prefabricated service unit consists of an arrangement of walls 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 32 provided with doors, such as 25 adapted to give access to rooms of a House in which the unit is installed, and fitments and fittings such as a W.C. 15, wash basin 16, a dresser 36, shower cabinet, meter cupboard 31, storage closet 35, ventilation shafts 33 and heating ducts 34. The dresser 36 is pivoted at 37 to the unit and in use, see Fig. 3 (not shown) is swung about the pivot to define with the house in which the unit is installed a kitchen provided with all necessary fittings. For minor details regarding positioning of ventilating and heating ducts and architectural layouts the Specification and Figs. 1, 4 and 5 (not shown) should be referred to.
