In a prefabricated service unit held by hanger clips as 36, 38 to e.g. a hospital room wall, the service outlets are centralised in consoles 60, 70 disposed between a pair of spaced channel members 48, 50, and the conduits connecting the wall service outlets to those on the consoles are concealed by panels 84. Lighting fixtures may be mounted on supports 76, 78 interconnecting a pair of channel members 72, 74.
