Abstract

1,128,026. Packaging cream. CENTRAL DAIRY (ST. BLAZEY) Ltd. 26 Oct., 1965, No. 45320/65. Heading B8C. [Also in Division A2] A method of packaging clotted cream comprises introducing the cream into a container, scalding the cream in the container and sealing the container with a semi-permeable transparent film. The container is preferably an aluminium tray able to withstand the scalding in a steam bath at 170‹ to 190‹ F. for 30 minutes. The transparent film is preferably of regenerated cellulose and it is heat sealed to the container. After sealing the package is forceably cooled.
