Abstract

1,127,063. Looms. DRAPER CORP. 18 April 1966 [3 Aug., 1965], No. 16894/66. Heading D1E. Upon incorrect boxing of a shuttle a latch 77 intermediate the shipper control and motor control lever 74 is released allowing the motor control lever to disconnect a clutch and apply a brake to stop the motor drive. A rod 23 connected to the shipper control acts through a latch 77 to move the lever 74 in the direction of arrow 76 to engage the clutch. When a shuttle fails to box a rod 69 operated from the shuttle swell moves the latch 77 anticlockwise to disengage from rod 23 and allow a spring 75 to move the motor control lever 74 without moving the rod 23 connected to the shipper mechanism.
