Abstract
1,126,112. Agricultural implements. RUHR-STICKSTOFF A.G. 14 Feb., 1966, No. 6417/66. Heading A1D. An implement for injecting liquid fertilizer into the soil comprises a doubleacting piston pump 28 driven by a landwheel 13 which pumps the fertiliser through a distributer 22 to the tines 15 of a harrow 14. The fertiliser passes out of a container 16 through a cooler 19 and a flow-meter 20 to the pump 28. The Cylinder of the pump is pivotally attached to a lever 34 which is normally held in position by a pin 33 which may be withdrawn by a lever 40 to allow the cylinder to move with the piston and so prevent the fertiliser from being passed through the pump.
