[Also in Division H2] A graphic recorder 132 includes a continuously driven record sheet 130 on which a pen 124 records the armature movement of a linear induction motor 10 in response to variations of e.g. temperature, liquid level, humidity or speed; such variables create an error signal which is amplified at A Fig. 9, and applied to the windings of the armature which shifts to an extent determined by a slidewire potentiometer 138, 140. The movement is also indicated by a pointer 126 on a ruled scale 134 which may be calibrated in terms of such variables.
