1,125,088. Propagating roses. M. E. EDWARDS. 16 Aug., 1967 [27 Aug., 1966], No. 38513/66. Heading A1E. A method for the propagation of roses comprises selecting a cutting of growing briar stock, budding the cutting, planting it in a propagating medium and heading back the cutting after it has rooted. The budded cutting is first planted in a small container and then after heading back it is moved to a second larger container in which it is sold.
