Abstract

A case having two U-frames hinged at their ends 8 has the covering 1 secured to the U-frame 7 and the ends of one frame sliding on the hinge arms 9 whereby the covering remains tight around the hinge member whether closed or open. The frame may have an S-section, the lower concavity gripping the covering with a plastics strip and the upper concavity being crossed by a web to provide a guide for the hinge arm. The frame may also be of A-section, the bottom concavity gripping the covering and the top opening providing the guide.
