Abstract

1,123,508. Plastics bags; label holders. W. LENNARTZ. 24 Jan., 1967 [31 Jan., 1966], No. 3430/67. Headings B8F and B8K. A stiff strip 3 is rolled into the end of a length of tube 1 and secured by a hollow rivet 5 which receives an elastic band 8 which can be passed around the opposite end of the bag so formed to close it after it has been filled. A similar strip may be rolled in the opposite end to form the closure. Label slips 6, 7 inserted in the rolled end may be removed by grasping them adjacent cutouts 10.
