Abstract

112,282. Gaz Pauvre Economique. July 19, 1915, [Convention date]. Producers.-In a gas-producer having a steam generator arranged at the lower end of the producer in proximity to the hearth and combustion zone, the steam is superheated by passage through an annular channel between the generator and the wall of the hearth. The steam generator is in two parts which can be readily disassembled for cleaning purposes. As shown, the water to be vaporized is contained in an annular trough 3 made in two parts 1, 2 with a conical joint and the steam produced passes through an annular space 4, in which it is superheated, to the combustion space 5. The conical joint allows the part 1 to be raised for Cleaning purposes.
