1,122,790. Automatic phase control systems. COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE THOMSON HOUSTON - HOTCHKISS BRANDT. 12 Nov., 1965 [13 Nov., 1964], No. 48255/65. Heading H3A. Clock pulses on terminal 12 are derived from an oscillator 5 by frequency divider stages 1-4 and are looked in phase to a reference signal supplied at terminal 91 by means of AND gates P 1 -P 6 controlling the divider stages 1-3 through OR gates P 10 , P 20 and P 30 . Preferably the divider stages are binary and are coupled as shown to the AND gates, the other inputs of which are the reference signal differentiated if necessary in unit 9; the outputs of the gates are fed to stages 1-3 to alter their states so that the phase is locked within a range of #/4, i.e. one-eighth of a period.
