Abstract

In order to lessen the degradation of lower grade rubbers on raw ageing, either latex skim rubber is coagulated with an aqueous solution of oxalic acid, or the dry comminuted rubber or wet cup lump, tree lace &c. is contacted with an aqueous solution of oxalic acid.
