Abstract

1,121,079. Screens. G. JOHANSSON. 11 Oct., 1965 [12 Oct., 1964], No. 42966/65. Heading A4U. [Also in Divisions E1 and E2] A screen for attachment to the guard rails of a balcony comprises a corrugated panel 1 of polyvinyl chloride which is bent over as at 11 along its vertical edges and provided with indentations 4, 5 along its horizontal edges to accommodate slotted tubular frame members 6, 7 and 9 as shown. The members 6, 7 are telescopically arranged and may co-operate with slots or protuberances formed along the horizontal edges of the panel, see Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown), respectively. The panel is provided with a corner clamp 12 and the screen is slidably carried by members 26, 27 secured to the balcony rail by a U-clamp arrangement 19, 20, 22 mounted on a vertically-adjustable clamp 26, 27, 28.
