Abstract

2 - Arylamino - 4,6 - dichloro - s - triazines are prepared by reacting cyanuric chloride with water-soluble salts of arylamines in a molar ratio of substantially 1:1 in an aqueous medium. The reaction may be carried out in the presence of an organic solvent, e.g. acetone, and/or a wetting agent, e.g. an ethylene oxide-dodecyl alcohol condensate.
