Conveying rotary motion.-In means for coupling eccentric shafts in which the velocities are substantially uniform, crank pins f<1>, f<2> on a disk or the like on one shaft carry rods s<1>, s<2> pivoted to toothed segments z<1>, z<2> meshing together and turning on crank pins d', d<2> on a disk on the other shaft. The rods may be jointed to the segments on either side of their pivots. Ball joints may be used to allow for angularity of the shaft axes and spring means may be inserted to prevent shocks. Specification 18267/00 is referred to.
