Abstract

1,117.101. Flexible doors. INDUSTRIAL DOORS Ltd. 29 April, 1966 [29 Jan., 1965], No. 3975/65. Heading E1J. A door comprises an opaque panel 2, and a transparent panel 1 each of polyvinyl chloride or another vinyl resin, both panels being in a common plane and welded along their adjacent transverse edges. Each of the transverse edges is of tapered or wedge section and embedded in the welding material, e.g. a vinyl resin. The top and one side are fixed to the limbs 3, 4 of a metal carrier hung upon a jamb of a door frame or opening. The other side of the door is inclined, the minimum width being more than half the width of the frame or opening.
