Abstract

1,115,691. Moulding concrete slabs. S. DICKINSON. 20 Oct., 1966 [13 Jan., 1966], No. 1631/66. Heading B5A. A machine which moulds two or three concrete slabs simultaneously comprises four separate mould frames 1-4, each containing two or three moulds, as appropriate, the frames being fed sequentially to concrete filling, pressing and slab removal stations A, B and C respectively. After leaving the slab removal station a frame is received on a carriage D and conveyed thereby at right-angles to the previous path of movement up an incline to the top of an incline J, down which it passes to be received by a further carriage E which moves back into alignment with the remaining frames ready for a further cycle of operations.
