Abstract

1,113,820. Endless conveyers. STUMPF G.O., [trading as BULLMER-WERK KARL BULLMER]. 17 June, 1966 [18 June, 1965], No. 27280/66. Heading B8A. [Also in Division D1] A frame for the collection, storage and transfer of point bars comprises two vertical chain conveyers 5 with holding elements 6 interconnected by transverse rods 7, the conveyers being arranged to project horizontally forwards in a position where they can receive a point bar from one knitting machine and transfer it to a second one. The conveyer is ratched forwards by a distance equal to the distance between the holding elements 6 by a pawl operated by a pedal 11. The frame is mounted on castors and a chain guard is provided. The holding elements 6 have spring-loaded bolts to hold the point bars in position.
