Abstract

1,112,582. Mixing machines. CELLIER ETABLISSEMENT. 1 July, 1965, No. 27975/65. Heading BIC. A mixing machine suitable for preparing suspensions of Kaolin in water comprises a helical bladed stirrer rotatable in a tank and deflectors mounted adjacent the tank well and adjustable about a vertical axis. Each deflector comprises a plate 2 spaced from the wall 1 and pivoted at each end to the container by bearings 4, 14. Each deflector is locked in a chosen position by a bolt 17 extending through one of a plurality of holes formed in a plate 9 fixed to the deflector and one of two holes in a lug 13 fixed to casing 1.
