Abstract

1,112,435. Soil working implements. HORWOOL (HOLDINGS) Ltd. 5 Dec., 1966 [6 Dec., 1965], No. 51696/65. Heading A1B. In a stone-collecting machine of the type wherein a band of soil dug by a share 14 is passed over a grid 12 the bars of which co-operate with rotating tines 8 on a shaft 5, the tines are each located at one end in holes in the shaft and are coiled intermediately around shafts 7 spaced radially from the shaft 5. The shaft 5 together with the outer shafts 7 and end-discs 6 forms a drum which is rotated by power from the towing tractor through a shaft 4. The separated soil falls to the ground through the grid bars and the stones are carried by a lateral conveyer 15 to a discharge shoot delivering to a vehicle alongside.
