Abstract

1,111,562. Agitating liquids. AERO-HYDRAULICS Ltd. 29 April, 1965 [1 May, 1964], No. 18242/64. Heading B1C. [Also in Division F4] Circulation of a fluent substance in a vat F to promote heating or cooling, and where appropriate, mixing of the substance, is effected by a stream of air or gas injected into the substance from a device D, causing circulation of the substance through a heat exchanging riser duct E, as denoted by the arrows H. The fluent substance may comprise a liquid or liquid-like substance which is to be heated or cooled, or a mixture of liquids or liquids and solids. The riser duct E may be electrically heated, or as shown, it may comprise a tube coil around which or within which a further tube coil may be wound. Alternatively the riser duct may comprise an upright jacketted tubular member.
