1,107,476. Plastics bags. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. 2 Sept., 1966 [2 Sept., 1965], No. 39443/66. Headings B8C and B8K. [Also in Division F3] A flat rectangular bag made of heat sealable plastics sheet has a side opening 4 and a protruding air outlet (2), Fig. 1 (not shown). The bag is used to line an ammunition box, the ears 5 formed from the unused corners of the bag being either folded to lie on the flat end face 7 of the bag, Fig. 2 (not shown), or turned inside out to lie against the inside face of the flat end 7 of the bag, Fig. 3. When the lined box is loaded the opening 4 is closed, air is extracted through the outlet (2), which is then sealed to form a moisture-proof pack. The bag may be constructed from either two identical blanks, or a single blank doubled over, or a length of tube.
