Abstract

1,106,492. Bottle crate. RYDER WIREWORKS Ltd., S. RYDER, and R. RYDER. 14 April, 1965 [14 April, 1964], No. 15362/64. Heading B8P. A protective crate for a bottle is made of criss-cross wires which form the bottom and bent upwardly to form uprights to which hoops are secured to form the wall of the crate, and a ring of strip metal is secured to the underside of the bottom. The wires may be welded to one another at their crossing points. One upright may be short and the top hoop incomplete, thus providing a gap at the top of the wall for a pouring spout of a bottle.
