Abstract

1,105,525. Metal barrels. FAIREY ENGINEERING Ltd. 10 May, 1965 [8 May, 1964], No. 19297/64. Heading B8D. [Also in Division B3] A welded sheet metal keg 10, one end of which comprises a domed circular end wall 11 welded to the side wall 12, is provided with three or more circumferentially spaced flange sections 22, which project axially outwardly from the keg, the end wall and the flange sections being made from the same sheet of metal. A rubber hand grip 28 may be moulded around each quadrant 18. Alternatively an annular rubber skirt is moulded around the tapered ends of all four quadrants which are then welded to the keg.
