A portable hut, such as a beach changing hut, is made up from a series of reinforced synthetic resin panels 11 which are interconnected together and provided with a door or opening 13 and a detachable roof 10. The floor 12 may be made of marine plywood or hard wood and may be a plain floor formed with drainage holes or made up from slats in the form of a grid.
