Casings and supports.-An electric starting - motor is mounted by one end upon the casing 4 of the fly-wheel. The end member 30 is secured to the motor casing 28 by longitudinal and radial screws 31, 32 and has a boss 36 fitting closely in an aperture 4' in the fly-wheel casing 4, to which it is secured by bolts 35. A bearing 33 for the armature shaft 8 is formed in the member 30.
