Abstract

1,103,345. Prestressed concrete anchorages. POLENSKY & ZOLLNER. 5, May, 1965 [21, May, 1964], No. 18930/65. Heading E1W. An anchorage for a prestressing element with a screwed end, or an anchor bolt 3, comprises a nut 6 acting against a steel bell-shaped endplate 7 which bears in turn on a tapered, ring- shaped bearing member 10 set in the concrete. The member 10 comprises a conical wire coil 12, welded to an annular metal plate 11, and reinforced with a concrete or plastics filling 13. The internal bore may, (as shown) or may not be lined with a sheet metal lining 18, and the member 10 may or may not have a wire helix 16 arranged against it.
