Abstract
1,102,967. Centrifugal pumps. I. LUSTIG. Dec. 2, 1965 [Jan. 18, 1965], No. 51272/65. Heading F1C. An arrangement for connecting two or more centrifugal pumps (e.g., four pumps 22-25) selectively in parallel or series comprises non- return valves 26-31 and stop valves 32-34. When the stop valves are closed, the pumps operate in parallel. When the stop valves are open, the pumps operate in series, the non-return valves being automatically closed by the pressure differentials to which they are subjected.
