Abstract

1,101,550. Mudguards. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. 4 Oct., 1966 [5 Oct., 1965], No. 44225/66. Heading B7J. A tractor for semi-trailers comprises rubber or plastics mudguards 4 over the rear wheels 3, each mudguard 4 being readily detachably secured to two transverse tubes 2 on the vehicle chassis frame 1 by means of two pairs of blocks 6, each block having a forked flap 8 hinged at 7 and securable by means of a swivel bolt 9 and nut 10. The support 2 behind the wheel 3 has attached to it a holder 11 carrying a rear reflector 12 and flashing-turn-indicating, brake and tail lamps 13. Sheet metal stiffeners 5 are provided.
