1,101,068. Hair clippers. AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT FUR FEINMECHANIK. 23 Dec., 1966 [12 Jan., 1966], No. 57726/66. Heading B4B. In a hair-clipper comprising a reciprocating upper cutting plate 4 and a lower cutting plate 3 which is adjustable to different fixed positions on a support 2 connected to the clipper housing 1, a clamping plate 7 is provided having tapped bores 8, 11 for the shanks of two set screws 9 and a clamping screw 12, the support 2 also having bores 13, 14 of the shanks of the set screws and clamping screw while the lower cutting plate 3 has bores 15 for the heads 9<SP>1</SP> of the set screws 9 and a bore 16 for the shank of the clamping screw 12, the arrangement being such that when the lower cutting plate 3 is to be removed from the apparatus for cleaning the latter, it is merely necessary to unscrew the clamping screw 12 and then withdraw the plate 3 from the heads 9<SP>1</SP> of the set screws 9 i.e. without affecting the adjustment of the plate 3.
