Abstract

1,100,415. Mounting switches. BROOKHIRST IGRANIC Ltd. 13 Jan., 1967 [13 Jan., 1966], No. 1977/67. Heading H1N. [Also in Division E2] Electrical apparatus such as a push-button or rotary switch mounted on a panel has an outwardly threaded cylindrical portion 5B passing through an aperture 3 in the panel 4 and engaged by a nut 9, and a portion 5 abutting the front-face of the panel. A switch or switches 21, 22 are secured to a ring 39 which is secured to a housing 37, with a ring 38 rotatably located between them. The inner periphery of the ring 38 has lugs (45) (Fig. 6) engageable in grooves 46, 47 in the rear of bushing 5B to attach the switches to the bushing. Ring 38 is rotated to engage or disengage lugs 45 by a gear segment 50 on its periphery engaged by a tool-driven gear 51. A push-button 10 in portion 5 has extensions 13, 14 co-operating with the switches.
