[Also in Division B7] Rear view mirrors for vehicles are made by inserting the mirror glass in a seating or recess in a hot moulded casing of a plastics material which shrinks on cooling, and allowing the casing to shrink on to the glass as it cools. The material may be polyethylene or polypropylene. The casing has a peripheral flange formed with a groove to receive the glass.
