Abstract

1,098,784. Cleaning baking tins. WERNER & PFLEIDERER. July 28, 1966 [Sept. 11, 1965], No. 33935/66. Heading A4D. The containers used in a fermenting cabinet for receiving the pieces of dough are cleaned by blowing compressed air into the containers from a set of nozzles to which the containers are applied after they have been emptied. The containers 4 are movably suspended from a conveyer chain 3, which runs over two reversing rollers 2, the lower ends of which are associated with the cleaning device. The cleaning device consists of a frame 11 adapted to receive a set of nozzles 12 which can be supplied with compressed air via a conduit 13, One container at a time is moved into a position above the frame such that its opening faces downwards and is sealed against the frame by a strip 15 of bristles of an elastic material, compressed air is blown through the nozzles and the pieces of dough etc. are collected in a fabric bag 16. The container is supported in position during cleaning by the discs 18. The cleaning device is constructed as an integral unit to be mounted inside the fermenting cabinet.
