1,098,775. Thermal treatment apparatus for hair. TIMES INVESTMENTS Ltd. Dec. 20, 1966 [May 23, 1966], No. 22774/66. Heading A4V. A thermal treatment element for the hair comprises a plastic roller of hollow cylindrical form having one closed end and tightly fitting inside, a closed ended hollow insert, moulded from plastic material of heat-retaining properties for actual contact with a heated pillar. The roller 1 is preferably moulded from polypropylene. The insert is preferably made of nylon and is preferably made in two sections 3 and 4, with a small air vent hole 5 and a shallow rim or lip 6 on the outside of the outer end of the insert.
