Abstract

109,696. Sandham, B. T., and Sandham, E. Nov. 22, 1916. Pictures; picture mounts.-A picture b on cardboard, metal, &c. is cut to shape and placed face downwards in a mould c, and plaster of Paris a is cast on to it. When the plaque has been removed from the mould, the edges surrounding the picture are trimmed by sand paper, file, knife, &c. so that the joint is barely visible. The whole article may be varnished or be covered by a thin sheet of celluloid.
