[Also in Divisions F1 and F2] To prevent collapsing during bending of coaxial stainless steel tubes 1, 4 the space between the tubes is filled with water which is frozen by blowing liquid nitrogen through the inner tube 1, the ice being subsequently melted and the tubes dried out.
