1,096,247. Louvre-type blinds. J. AVERY & CO. (EST. 1834) Ltd. Sept. 30, 1966 [Sept. 2, 1965], No. 37456/65. Heading E1J. A louvre-type blind incorporating a plurality of sheet steel or plastics sheets 10 particularly for use in inclined or horizontal dispositions comprises clip members 11 which engage the longitudinal edges of the slats, and have a lug with a longitudinal slot 112 therein, a fixed angled section bar 12 associated with each set of clips 11, and having for each clip a depending arm 121 which is pivoted at 122 to the lug of the clip, a bar 14 slidable relative to bar 12 and having secured thereto for each set of clips 11 or slats 10 a bracket 14a provided with depending arms 143 each having a lateral projecting pin 144 engageable in the slot 112 of the associated slat clip, the bar 14 being pivoted at one end to a link 15 operated by the rotation of a wheel 152 to slide the bar 14 relative to the bar 12 whereupon the slats are turned about their pivots 123 through the movement of the pins 144 in the slots 112 to vary their inclination.
