[Also in Division E2] A reversible night or day rear view mirror 2 has a ball 4 which may be pressed into the socket in an elastic plastic base 5 recessed at 12, Fig. 3, and slotted at (13), Fig. 2 (not shown) to permit expansion of the socket 7. The arm 3 of the mirror is received in a channel 9 defining an edge 14 about which the mirror when struck may lever itself out of the joint. The base clamping screw 11 may be turned in the roof frame 6 to adjust the clamping action of the joint.
