[Also in Division E1] A sealing or trim strip for straddling over the edge of a metal sheet particularly for car bodies and doors, comprises a core 1 of flexible metal band provided with transverse slits (2, Fig. 1) at alternate sides and with, on each side, two rows of teeth or projections 3, 4, staggered axially of the strip in relation to each other, the teeth 3 penetrating the lapped under portion of the outer covering 5 to retain the covering on the core, and the teeth 4 engage the sheet 6. The covering 5 may have a portion, as shown, as a flange to function as a draught excluder.
