[Also in Group F1] In a centrifugal pump (see Division F1) the shaft seal is substantially the same as the one described in Specification 1,062,946 except that the rubber sealing ring of U-shaped crosssection encloses a coil spring which forces the walls of the sealing ring against the graphite ring and the pump shaft.
