Abstract
1,089,462. Dynamo-electric rotor conductor cooling. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Feb. 22, 1965 [Feb. 21, 1964], No. 7483/65. Heading H2A. In an axial bore of a dynamoelectric machine, e.g. turbine-driven generator, rotor or rotor shaft 1 are accommodated two concentric mutually spaced tubular conductors 5, 6 capable of forming electrical connections to and capable of conveying cooling fluid to and from a rotor winding 3. The winding conductors 4 are hollow and D.C. supplied via slip rings 10, 11, electrical contacts 12, 13, and hollow conductors 14, 8 and 15, 7 which conductors also convey the cooling fluid.
