1,087,385. Hand slicing guide. D. LEVIN. Aug. 23, 1966 [May 26, 1966], No. 37632/66. Heading A4C. A guide for a hand held slicing knife, particularly for slicing bread, comprises an open-ended trough 8 optionally bridged at one end 13 and having a guide slot 16 in the roof and sides. The side walls are cut away at 14 to allow of gripping the loaf. A slice thickness guide 17 consists of a flap pivoted at pivots 18 displaced from its long axis so as to give thick slices in the position shown in Fig 1, medium slices on rotation through 180 degrees and thick slices if set vertical.
