[Also in Division G6J The invention provides an indicator for a reactor having its fuelling machine mounted eccentrically on a turn-table which is itself eccentrically mounted on a larger turn-table mounted rotatably in a fixed support; the indicator comprises a first disc 12 rotatably mounted on a fixed support, and a second disc 30 rotatably mounted in a bearing carried by the first disc eccentrically of the axis thereof; the second disc carries a pointer 70 which traverses a fixed panel carrying a diagram of the core standpipes; the large turn-table and first disc, and small turn-table and second disc respectively are coupled electrically for rotation in angular phase synchronization. The coupling comprises, for each pair, a 3-phase transmitting synchro and a similar receiver, and an amplifier servo loop which drives the disc through a motor-tachometer unit to reduce the phase error signal between the synchros to zero. Both circuits have feedback servo loops to prevent overshoot of the discs due to their inertia. The diagram panel 22 carrying the core channel markings 24, 25 is transparent, and is arranged above the discs, which are matt black metal.
