Abstract
1,085,294. Space heating radiators. M. L. R. MASSELIN. Oct. 5, 1964 [Oct. 3, 1963], No. 40576/64. Heading F4S. A space heating radiator is assembled from two folded metal sheets 1 and 2 welded together around the perimeter 13 and having a plurality of bosses, either dis-continuous, e.g. 11, 12, or continuous in the form of ribs 7-10, extending between the folds to a length shorter than the folds so as to provide channels, e.g. 14, Fig. 2 (not shown), at each end of the heat exchanger for circulation of the heating fluid. The sheets are also welded to an internal perforated partition 15 located between the metal sheets. Inlet and outlet unions for the heating fluid are arranged at the end of the channels and a bleed plug (19) (Fig. 2) fitted into the top channel (14).
