Abstract

1,083,000. Mounting electrical equipment- STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. April 7, 1966, No. 15559/66. Heading H1R. A printed circuit board 1, adapted to be slidably mounted in a rack, is held rigid by two extruded aluminium stiffeners 3, 4 of general U-section which extend the length of the board and are fixed thereto by self-tapping screws 5. A front plate 6 is similarly attached to the stiffeners at the front end thereof, and a plug connector (not shown) is screwed to the stiffeners at the rear end thereof for co-operation with a socket connector on the rack.
