Staus.-Relates to slotted stays having enlargements a<3> which fit the lower part d of the fixed pin, the width of the slot a<1> being sufficient to allow the stay free movement on the neck d<2> of the pin when in the raised position. Each enlargement is of less diameter than the head d<3> of the pin to prevent detachment of the stay. The shoulder between the neck and the lower part d of the stud may be slightly inclined, or the whole stem may be cone-shaped to assist the dropping of the stay into the locked position.
