Heading B7U A one-piece reversible lifejacket A adapted to extend around the wearer's neck is attached to his chest by means of a pair of waist-encircling tapes O which are respectively slidably engaged with two loops L<SP>1</SP> of webbing which extend around opposite lateral edges of the lifejacket, each loop L<SP>1</SP> having its ends secured to opposite faces of the lifejacket at small loops H on cemented patches K. The two loops L<SP>1</SP> may be formed from a single length of webbing, the other parts L<SP>2</SP> of which are led to the neck opening E to provide a lifting loop accessible from either side of the lifejacket.
